Rapid7 Creative Partnership (2022)

Intro

As part of our incredible partnership with Rapid7, we designed, wireframed, and created an interactive and captivating website, along with three explainer videos.

In this project, I worked as one of the Creative Directors and led the team to develope the concept and style. I also participated in the creation of the storyboard, style frames, and animation.

While working on the design, we spent a lot of time tweaking color and line weight. It is not only tracing everything from the storyboard, but also elevating it with more care so it works smoothly in animation.

Animation

The biggest challenge for the animators is to make EVERYTHING move. Since there so many elements and characters, we split it into a few sections so everyone can focus on their part. In this project, we use After Effects, cel animation and even 3D to achieve all the camera movement and character animation. Here are some process breakdown.
